Shaklee

Duane and I have been married for 34 years. ​ We have 4 children 35,33,25, our youngest 22 years with Jesus. FOUR grandsons, 3,2,2,6 months!! and we are enjoying our first year as homesteaders “Abiding Joy Farm”  milk goat and her baby, ducks and chickens! 

I have a passion to come alongside families and pay forward the practical experience and knowledge -God has provided for us!

After our second child was born I had two health challenges. First​ and foremost, I needed strength and stamina to care for my husband and children with very little sleep. ​ Our playpen had turned into a huge clothes basket. I could get the clothes washed and dried, but no energy to fold them. ​ I struggled to get to nap time–so I could get the sleep I was deprived of!

Secondly-I needed something to wash our cloth diapers. ​Our diaper service swore that they didn’t use bleach, but our son’s bottom was a red as a tomato and wherever the wet diaper touched him was burnt! The dead skin was peeling off in layers–OUCH!!

In the spring of 1991, by God’s grace I was introduced to the Shaklee cleaners and nutritional supplements. WITHIN A WEEK, WE NO LONGER HAD EITHER OF THESE PROBLEMS. OUR LIVES WERE TRANSFORMED!!

With my restored energy, I was able to launder our own diapers with Shaklee and save a lot of money! Now we had a happy mom and a happy baby! In addition, our ​ breastfed son also started sleeping longer stretches, because of my better quality nutrition! ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

Now more than 32 years have passed and we have been blessed every day to have Shaklee in our lives.

We also have received greater financial health to aid in me being a “worker in the home”, especially during the years while our children were at home.
