About me:
I have been married to an amazing man for 40 years and a mom for 38 years. We were blessed to raise our family in a small rural community, where we worked and played hard together. When my children were still young we learned together and served together. As they grew, I found new ways to share the joy of discovery. Teaching and mentoring hundreds of youth ages 5 to 17 through 4-H, community education classes, and church programs, feeding the creative minds of children in many rural communities is a lifelong passion.
When my oldest child was a toddler, I discovered the importance of selecting the best books for my children. I have been purchasing PaperPie books and educational toys and workbooks for over 35 years, passing on a legacy of literacy to our grandchildren. I became an Independent Consultant in 2020, and a PaperPie Brand Partner in January 2023. As a mother of 8 and grandma to 12, I know how important it is to read to your children and to have a personal home library. Your children will be empowered to learn, to explore, and to create when they own their own books.
