Hello my Dresden & Company Friends,
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jeannie Miller, I live in New Holland, and I am a Founding Proprietor with Dresden & Company. I have been part of this amazing company since the beginning. We launched as a company in July, 2019!. Thank you for your interest in Dresden & Company.
Some of you may know me from my days with The Longaberger Company. I enjoyed 30 years with that company, and when they went out of business, I wasn’t ready to retire yet. I had the opportunity to have spoken with Jim Lepi (our founder). He was born and raised in Dresden, Ohio, and was very helpful in the final months with Longaberger. He had actually approached the Rochan’s about buying Longaberger before they went bankrupt. I had met Jim, & enjoyed a nice conversation with him during my last trip to Dresden at my last Longaberger Leadership Meeting.
After Longaberger ceased operations, Jim wanted to figure a way to help his town of Dresden, and put our weavers back to work. So he met with former Longaberger execs, who are also from Dresden & surrounding area. Over the course of the next year this new company was founded. When I was asked to join, I knew all these people, and trusted them, so I was onboard from day one.
It’s been 3 years since we’ve launched. We’ve grown our product line quite a bit, while focusing on made in America products where we could, & partnering with other American, family owned and generational companies to help form this unique “boutique” style” company, with a modern farmhouse look. Our baskets are all made right in Dresden, Ohio by the most experienced weavers, our pottery is made in nearby Zanesville, Ohio. Our Tannery pieces are also made by a husband/wife business from Ohio. Our D&Co. kitchen is growing, and features wonderful foods, & spices, (many vegan, gluten free, and fresh), also made in the U.S., and our wood bowls are handmade by a 4 generation family business from Holland, Michigan.
These are just a few of things we offer. We’ve used local glass companies for some of our holiday items, and the Bevin Bell company in the New England states… all to bring you a unique sense of style & quality. Our mission statement is “Life Made Better”, a sentiment I know you will appreciate, when you purchase, gift, & earn Dresden & Company products for you & the special people in your life.
We are a Direct Sales Company, so you have the opportunity to earn your favorite items at ½ price and free. We can do this in your home, my home, your favorite coffee shop, park, or Virtually online. There’s nothing better than seeing & holding our products up close. When you shop with me you will always enjoy a 20% savings from retail prices. I know you hate to wait on orders, so our products are shipped and delivered in 2 week or less.
