4-6 peeled and thinly sliced potatoes
2 Packages of shredded Cheddar Cheese (I use sharp cheddar)
1/2 Cup of flour
1 Cup of Milk
Salt and Pepper
Bacon bits (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 13 x 9 inch casserole (I use glass for easier clean up)
2. Lay sliced potatoes into rows (they can and should cover each other)
3. Combine flour and milk with wire whisk and cover potatoes and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover with Shredded Cheddar.
4. Cover entire casserole dish with foil and cook on 350 for 1 hour. After one hour, test your potatoes to see if they are soft enough. If they are still a bit hard cook for another 10-15 minutes. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your potatoes.
5. Cover with Bacon Bits
