Christmas in September: The Best Gift Ideas with a Cost-Effective Approach
by Jennifer Wise for OneStopForMom.com
If you’re like most people, December is a pretty full and expensive month, and special gift ideas are pretty hard to come by.
And that’s where Christmas in September comes in!
My Christmas in September approach includes impressive, fun, unique gift ideas for everyone on your list, plus a plan to spread out both the cost and the time so that you can actually enjoy December.
I have done this for years, and nothing beats it. Really.
One year, I decided to host a little gingerbread house decorating party for my daughter (who was maybe 10 or 11 at the time) and her friends. The mom of one of the kids was kind of blown away that I had time and energy to do something like this during December. It took me by surprise–I had almost forgotten that everyone else is hectic and running in December.
Without further ado, let me share my method (which also serves as a checklist, if you want) for Christmas in September. Technically, you’re taking care of Christmas gifts from September – November (done by Thanksgiving!), and it’s so great!
You can find all the amazing, one-of-a-kind gift ideas (for a variety of budget needs) plus the whole Christmas in September plan, including the “payment plan,” of sorts, right here at my original post:
